Comprehensive T1 Monitoring so simple, anyone can do it.

The T1-WATCHER® gives you the capabilities you need to identify and isolate T1 problems.

Designed with ease of use in mind, it does not require days of training, thick manuals, or cryptic help lists. In seconds you can make your first measurement, and in minutes you will have mastered all of the measurements you require.
Yet, for all its simplicity, you get a full-featured monitoring instrument that can be used for installation, maintenance or as a performance monitor. It can verify span operation and isolate problems to span components or end-user equipment. The T1-WATCHER will measure Level and Frequency of the T1 signal and auto configure to the line code and framing. It automatically recognizes eight test patterns, including QRSS, 3 in 24 and 55 OCTET. It will also count errors and display statistics, such as Error Free Seconds, to verify operation of the T1 span over long time periods. The alarm and status indicators will even flash to attract attention to a condition that has changed during a test.

Channel access and signaling bits.

The T1-WATCHER can select any one of the 24 DSO channels in the data stream for monitoring. It can even scan to find an active channel. Once a channel is selected, the data bits along with the signaling bits are displayed, and you can listen to the channel using the internal speaker or external earphone. If a voice channel is under test, the signal level and frequency of the test signal can be displayed. To aid in troubleshooting or to judge the level of activity on the T1 circuit, the T1-WATCHER can display all 24 A, B, C, or D signaling bits at one time.

So inexpensive, anyone can afford it.

For all the T1-WATCHER offers, it is very attractively priced at thousands of dollars less than other instruments you may consider, and it has a three-year manufacturer's warranty. Quite simply, if you want an easy, inexpensive instrument for installation crews, or if you want to ensure that you are receiving all of the T1 service you pay for, there is no better choice.
