Designed with ease of use in mind, it does not require days of training,
thick manuals, or cryptic help lists. In seconds you can make your first
measurement, and in minutes you will have mastered all of the measurements
you require.
Yet, for all its simplicity, you get a full-featured monitoring instrument
that can be used for installation, maintenance or as a performance monitor.
It can verify span operation and isolate problems to span components or
end-user equipment. The T1-WATCHER will measure Level and Frequency of
the T1 signal and auto configure to the line code and framing. It automatically
recognizes eight test patterns, including QRSS, 3 in 24 and 55 OCTET. It
will also count errors and display statistics, such as Error Free Seconds,
to verify operation of the T1 span over long time periods. The alarm and
status indicators will even flash to attract attention to a condition that
has changed during a test.
