THE OPTICAL SOLUTION FOR TESTING SONET TRANSMISSION

The LIGHT-MATE II tests OC3/3c, OC-12/12c and OC-48/48c when mated to the EZ-TESTER ST and can be operated in temperatures from below 0° F to 140°F.

DUAL OPTICAL WAVELENGTH OPTION

The LIGHT-MATE II supports 1310nm and 1550 nm operation.

STS-1 DROP AND INSERT FOR CHANNELIZED TESTING

All of the capabilities of the EZ-TESTER ST are available at the optical transmission rates on an STS-1 which is "dropped" or "inserted" relative to the optical payload.

PAYLOAD BERT

Standard test patterns provide BERT testing on the concatenated payload across the entire optical bandwidth or STS-x sub-sets.

ATM OPTION

Single-ended and full-duplex testing across the network.
Support for both UNI and NNI configurations.
Quality of Service (Qos), BERT, and OAM measurmennts.
Measure cell delay and variation.
Cell count and rate, including bandwidth and congestion.
Scan network for all active VCC traffic.
Detect and count lost and mis-inserted cells.
Pseudo-random and user patterns in cell payload.
Generates Foreground cell stream at selected rate.
Generates Background cell stream or cells.
