Our long term experience with our test equipment, including the original TTS-3 EZ-TESTER and EZ-TESTER II confirms there are no known components that drift out of calibration within a year or two that would generate a need for frequent test set recalibration. There is less field data on the , EZ-TESTER DS, EZ-TESTER HD, EZ-TESTER QJ, EZ-TESTER ST, T1-LITE, E1-LITE, and COMM-WATCH since they are newer products, but the data available, plus their design characteristics, suggest that they are just as stable. We are therefore recommending a two year calibration period for all of our digital test equipment.

Many quality assurance programs, including ours, use a one year period for calibration of this type of test equipment. If you request a NIST certificate when sending your equipment in for calibration, make certain that you specify either a one year or two year certificate. We will certify either period depending upon your quality program needs.
